At the beginning of each year, there is a technology event called the Consumer Electronics Show CES in Las Vegas, USA.
Numerous new devices and concept technologies are on display at this year’s largest technology show.
But the event is also important in terms of introducing new laptops, and in 2022, several companies have unveiled their devices.
Learn about some of the best laptops in 2022 introduced at CES that will be available sometime this year.
Dell XPS 13 Plus
Dell XPS 13 Plus is basically a flagship model of the XPS 13 series and has a much better design than previous versions, newer hardware options and some very interesting changes to the display and function keys.
This is a laptop that does not have a touchpad, which may be difficult for some people to use.
Above the keyboard is a new cap active function, a touch control bar that can be replaced with a media control and FN keys.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus laptop has a 4K OLED screen and a 28-watt Intel processor, which will be available in the spring for 11 1,199 (over PKR 212,000).
Asus Rog Zephyrus G16
Asus unveiled another dual-screen laptop Asus Rog Zephreus G16 at the event, which has a unique design and is very powerful.
It has a 16-inch main screen with a 14.1-inch secondary touch screen with 4K resolution and is a bezel-less laptop that makes you feel the same big screen instead of 2.
Asus Rog Zephreus G16 will be available with 2 display options, the first Nebula HDRQ HD resolution panel with 165 Hz refresh rate using mini LED backlight.
The second is with a dual Spec panel developed by Rogue and BOE that can be switched to 4K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate or 1080p and 240 Hz refresh rate.
It is primarily for laptop gaming with AMD Raisin 96980HX series processor and Nvidia G Force RTX3080T mobile graphics.
The device Asus Rog Zephreus G16 comes with up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 TB of storage, its price is not stated but it can be more than 3 thousand dollars (more than 530 thousand Pakistani rupees).
Asus Rog Zephyrus G14
Asus’s new Asus Tog Zephyrus 14 laptops are equipped with AMD’s new technologies, most of which are aimed at increasing battery life and performance.
This new Asus Tog Zephyrus 14 laptop uses AMD’s new Raisin 96900 HSCPU, which uses less power but has better performance.
Asus has used vapor chambers and liquid metal to keep the processor cool.
The display that switches from 120 to 144 refresh rate has a much better webcam than the previous model.
The price has not been announced but it will be available sometime in March 2021.
HP Elite Dragon Fly
This is HP’s third generation hybrid laptop HP Elite Dragon Fly introduced at CES and designed primarily to cater to the needs of those working in the home.
It has improved the features of conferencing and working together.
But unlike the G1 and G2, the Dragon Fly is a regular ComShell laptop with a 13.3-inch display instead of the G3-2 in One.
For video conferencing, HP has partnered with a device with a 5-megapixel webcam auto-frame, which helps keep the camera focused on the face, even when you’re moving around.
Along with AI based noise reduction, audio functions have also been improved and even if one speaks while wearing a face mask, his voice is clear.
HP Elite Dragon Fly will feature Intel’s new 12-generation processor with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage options.
There will also be fast Wi-Fi 6E Wireless, Blue Tooth 5.2 and optional 4G LTE and 5G support options.
The company has not yet announced the price but it will be available in March.
Acer Swift X
This is Acer’s thinnest and lightest laptop Acer Swift X ever designed with content ready for everyday tasks.
Weighing in at just 1.4kg, it has the AMD Raisin 5800U and 4GB Force RTX3050TI which makes it perfect for editing YouTube videos or photos.
The Acer laptop Acer Swift X is powered by a 12-generation Intel Core processor and has the option of 14-inch and 16-inch screens.
The Acer Swift X laptop will have 16 GB RAM and storage options up to 1 TB.
Acer has not yet announced the prices or availability of laptop models.
Alienware is a subsidiary of Dell and is a gaming laptop developed by it. The larger models X15R2 and X17R2 were also presented at the event and included 12 Generation Intel i9 processors and new Nvidia. 30 TIGPUs are given.
It has no specific ports but a microSD card slot.
The Alienware X14 combines the RTX 3060 and Core i7 12900H, but the Nvidia Advanced Optimus is also part of the device, while the FHD 144 Hz display is given.
According to the company, dual channel LPDDR5 RAM and Dolby Atmos surround sound support are also part of the laptop.
The laptop will be available in February at a price of 17 1799 (over 318,000 Pakistani rupees).
All three laptops are powered by Intel’s new 12-generation processor, while AMD Raisin is equipped with 6,000 CPUs, Nvidia’s new RTX GPU.
All three models feature new keyboards with larger keys, laser-cut speakers, and improved cooling.
Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1 support is provided along with 1080p webcam IR which is for face recognition.
The Razr Blade 17 has a 17.3-inch display with a 360 Hz refresh rate, while the QHD resolution will have a 240 Hz refresh rate.
The laptop has 8 speakers inside and is priced at 27 2,700 (over PKR 477,000) which will be available for pre-order at Razor’s site sometime in January.
The Razr Blade 15 has a 15.6-inch display with 16 to 32 GB of RAM that can be upgraded to 64 GB, and a TB of storage that can be expanded up to 2 TB.
It is priced at 25 2,500 (over PKR 444,000) and will be available for pre-order at the end of January.
The Razr Blade 14 will have 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage while it will be available in 2 display options of 14 inches.
One option will have FHD screen with 144 Hz refresh rate while the other is QHD display with 165 Hz refresh rate.
The laptop will also be available in green order at the end of January, starting at ڈالر 2,000 (over 355,000 Pakistani rupees).
