Donald Trump’s Social Media App Finally Available To Public

Former US President Donald Trump has launched his social media app to the public.

The former US president announced the launch of his new media company and social media platform, Truth Social, in October 2021, following a permanent ban on social media in the wake of a riot on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021.

Now it has been introduced to the public, which is a very similar app to Twitter.

The app was released in the US App Store for the US on Sunday night and is not currently available on the Google Play Store.

According to Reuters, some early users of Truth Social could not immediately sign in to the app and some were greeted by the app with the message that we have put you on the waiting list due to high demand.

A company called Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) is behind the app, and its CEO, Devin Nunes, told the media that the app is not yet fully developed.

“We’re offering it to the public in the Apple App Store this week, and we expect it to be fully operational, at least in the United States, by the end of March,” he said.

In October 2021, Donald Trump said in a written statement, “We live in a world where the Taliban have a large presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American president has been silenced. This is unacceptable.”

“I am excited to send my first truth on Truth Social very soon,” he said.

“I’m excited to share my thoughts on Truth Social soon and fight against Big Tech,” he said.

The former US president’s accounts were permanently blocked by Twitter and Facebook on January 8 after his supporters rioted on Capitol Hill in Washington, killing five people, including a police officer. People were killed.

SnapChat also locked the former president’s account, while his YouTube account was also suspended.

In the 4 years of his presidency, Donald Trump has been very active on Twitter.

For a long time, the company did not take action on posts that violated Twitter’s community norms, but added warning labels to posts related to the election and the Corona virus.
