The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education FBISE, finalizing the promotion policy, has decided to promote Matriculation and Intermediate students on the basis of average marks obtained in non-compulsory subjects.
The notification states that all the candidates of classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 will be awarded marks in the required subjects on the basis of the average marks obtained in optional subjects and mathematics.
Along with this, proportionate additional marks up to 5% will also be given in compulsory subjects. The actual marks obtained by the candidate in the published article (essay) will be indicated.
However, for the subjects which are practical, 50% of the total marks obtained in the practical test will be accepted by the applicants as standard marks while the remaining 50 marks will be accepted equally on the basis of marks obtained. plan will be made. relevant theory test
The notification further states that the students who will fail in their examinations will be passed with 33% marks.
Candidates applying for promotion will be marked on the basis of their examinations, while applicants who are absent in all examinations will be treated as “absent”.
