A first version of Google’s Android game store is coming to Windows 10 and Windows 11. Google has just opened the Play Games beta for certain regions of the world, with an official release planned for later this year.
A little over a month after announcing the upcoming arrival of its Android video game store on Windows , Google has just started its beta test program in several regions.
The Mountain View firm has put a dedicated site online for the occasion to join the Play Games beta. For now, only Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea are eligible.
The official arrival of Android games on Windows is rather good news. It will allow mobile gamers to enjoy their favorite titles on the big screen of their PC with significantly better performance thanks to the power of their machine, and with the possibility of using keyboard and mouse to play. Google promises perfect synchronization of saves between different devices, whether you play on mobile, tablet or PC.

On Windows, however, Google Play Games will not provide access to the entire catalog of Android games available on mobile platforms. However, Google has put a site dedicated to developers online and has indicated that it wants to work hand in hand with them to ensure that their games are perfectly optimized for Windows.

Without going into the details of its schedule, Google indicates that the stable version of Play Games will be released first in regions where the beta is accessible before being extended to other regions in the course of 2022.
