The Higher Education Commission HEC has announced the registration schedule for the Law Admission Test (LAT). Candidates who want to appear in this examination have to follow the schedule issued by the Commission. HEC conducts LAT tests for candidates who wish to enroll in the five-year undergraduate LLB degree program at HEC / PBC accredited public and private universities / institutions and legitimate colleges affiliated with public sector universities.
LAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Law Entrance Test (LAT) are as follows.
Candidates who have passed the Higher School Secondary Certificate or equivalent education are eligible to appear for the entrance test.
Candidates who have appeared for the HSSC final examination or are awaiting the equivalent and results can take the test.

The test pattern and syllabus issued by the Higher Education Commission for LAT test is given below.

HEC Law Admission Test Schedule
The test will be held on November 28, 2021 temporarily and any change in the test date will be reported through the HEC web portal.
Candidates registering through the online registration process will be able to download the roll number slip from the HEC portal and registered email address one week before the start of the examination.
Email / SMS will be sent to the candidates regarding the date, time and place of the test. Candidates have to enter correct information while filling online application form.
On the day of the examination, the candidates have to bring the print out of the roll number slip and the original identity card.
The law entrance test will be conducted in major cities and candidates can choose the examination center from the available list.
HEC LAT Registration Process
Candidates have to register online through the web portal of the Higher Education Commission.
The application submission process consists of two steps, which include completing the profile and submitting the application. Candidates are required to enter correct details while filling up the application form.
Only applications submitted for LAT will be considered and incomplete / unsaved application forms will not be considered.
The test fee is Rs.1000 / – which can be deposited in the branch of Habib Bank Limited and the candidates are informed that bank draft and pay order will not be accepted. LAT test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in any case.
Applicants are required to submit a copy of the fee challan submitted by courier at HEC Headquarters, Sector 8 Islamabad on or before the last date of registration.
Candidates must mention the CNIC number at the back of the fee challan.
The last date to apply for the Law Entrance Test is November 15, 2021, so candidates are advised to submit the application form before the last date.
