The Higher Education Commission HEC has decided to launch HEC PERIDOT Research Program 2021 for faculty members of public and private universities in collaboration with French counterparts for funding under the Pak-France PERIDOT Research Program. HEC invites applications for HEC Research Proposal from candidates who are intends to apply for the HEC Research Programs 2021. According to a statement issued by the concerned authorities, PERIDOT is a Franco-Pakistani Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC) program aimed at providing research opportunities to Pakistanis and Frenchmen so that they can better exhibit different fields of study. The program is jointly implemented by the Higher Education Commission in Pakistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) in France.
HEC PERIDOT RESEARCH PROGRAM 2021
The program aims to maintain scientific and technical cooperation between Pakistani and French higher education institutions. According to the main features of PERIDOT, the expected number of grants is up to 5 per year and the maximum duration of the project is 03 years. The project’s priority areas include nutrition, health sciences, sustainable energy, agricultural productivity and food security, modern governance and reform.
How to apply for HEC PERIFDOT Research Program?
Eligible Pakistani faculty members will have to prepare a joint research proposal on the proposed application form in accordance with the instructions provided in collaboration with their French counterpart. In addition, candidates will have to submit a joint proposal through the HEC’s online portal. Candidates have to upload all the required documents along with the application form. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted by the Commission under any circumstances. So make sure you submit the form correctly and enter the correct details when filling out the application form. The deadline to submit a proposal is December 24, 2021.
