Huawei P50 Series Phones Price And Specs

Huawei has announced its long-awaited flagship phones Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro for sale. What is the price in Pakistani Rupees? Know

After a delay of several months, Huawei has introduced its flagship phones P50 and P50 Pro.

Huawei’s 2 new phones in this flagship series have better cameras than before but the choice of processors is more interesting.

The Huawei P50 is powered by a Snapdragon processor and surprisingly only 4G support, although this processor can also provide 5G support.

In comparison, there are two versions of the P50 Pro, one with the company’s own Karen 9000 and the other with the Snapdragon 888 processor.

Both these versions also have only 4G support, although these two processors can also provide 5G support.

Regarding the lack of 5G support in phones, Richard Yu, Huawei’s Consumer Business CEO, said: 4G is preferred.

These are Huawei’s first flagship phones that do not have the Android operating system but use the company’s own Harmony OS, as well as Google apps and services are not part of these devices.

The Huawei P50 has 8 GB RAM and 128 to 256 GB storage options while the Pro model will have 8 to 12 GB RAM and 128, 256 and 512 GB storage options, with more than an SD card. 256 GB can be added.

Both phones are about the same size, but the P50 has a 6.5-inch OLED display with 90 Hz refresh rate and HDR support.

The Huawei P50 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch elbow OLD display with 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR support.

The P50 has 4100 mAh batteries while the P50 Pro has 4360 mAh batteries with 66 watt wired and 50 watt wireless charging support.

Both phones have stereo speakers and are dust and water resistant.

As far as the camera setup is concerned, these phones have Lisa branded cameras equipped with 10 channel sensors and better telephoto modules than ever before.

The P50 Pro has a 50-megapixel main camera with features like F1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization.

In addition, the 40-megapixel black and white camera with F1.6 aperture, while the 12-megapixel Ultra Wide is also part of the phone.

For zooming, a 64-megapixel periscope camera is also provided in the device which allows 3.5x optical zoom.

The front of the phone has a 13-megapixel camera with a punch-hole design.

The Huawei P50 is the first non-Pro model to be given a periscope camera with a 12-megapixel sensor.

The phone’s main camera is 50 megapixels like the Pro model, while the 13-megapixel ultra wide camera is also part of the P50.

Not long ago, Huawei announced the launch of its flagship phones worldwide.

However, the global availability date of the phones has not been announced yet, but they will be available in China from August / September.

The P50 Pro will be available in pre-order in China from August 12. The cheapest model with Snapdragon 888 processor, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will be priced at 6,000 yuan (more than 150,000 Pakistani rupees).

Models with 256 or 512 GB storage will come with the option of Snapdragon 888 or Karen 9000 processors.

The models will be available at 6,500 (over PKR 163,000) and 7,500 Yuan (over PKR 188,000), respectively.
