The Institute of Business Administration IBA and pharmaceutical company AGP Limited have set up an annual IBA Scholarship 2021 fund of Rs. 4 million to further the financial aid program for deserving students.
An amount of Rs. 1 million per annum will be provided. The MoU was signed by the Executive Director, IBA, Dr. S. Akbar Zaidi and MD and CEO, AGP Limited, Nusrat Munshi.
Under the agreement, AGP Limited will provide financial assistance to eligible IBA undergraduate students for a period of four years.
On this occasion, Nusrat Munshi directed the IBA National Talent Hunt Program He praised the empowerment of the youth through the provision of quality education.
He said that as a corporate entity in the pharmaceutical sector of Pakistan, the AGP stands by the IBA in the process of providing education to deserving students.
Dr. Zaidi appreciated the efforts of the AGP in the field of health. He also thanked the AGP for assisting the IBA in its mission to provide quality education to deserving students.
The IBA has provided a grant of Rs. 1.2 billion to 9,000 students in 2016 through its financial aid program through IBA Undergraduate Scholarships 2021. About 30% of IBA students benefit from this program each year.
