Apple has introduced 4 phones of the iPhone 13 series. These iPhones were introduced during a virtual event, Apple September 2021 Launch Event.
iPhone 13 mini has 5.4 inch display, iPhone 13 has 6.1 inch display, iPhone 13 Pro has 6.1 inch display and iPhone 12 Pro Max has 6.7 inch display, i.e. the display size of all four phones iPhone 12 series are similar to.
This time all the iPhones are equipped with the A15 Bionic processor and according to the company its performance is 20% more than last year’s A14 while the utility is 30% more. All four phones have 5G support and have been improved. The company has also given a 120Hz refresh rate display for the first time in 2 iPhones.
This phone looks similar to last year’s iPhone 12, only the notch on the front has been reduced slightly while the camera module on the back has been redesigned, but no other changes have been made in the design.
But the special thing about the phone is that it already has a bigger battery and according to the company, the battery of iPhone 13 will last two and a half hours more than iPhone 12.
The iPhone 13 is powered by the company’s new A15 Bionic processor, a 5nm chip that is 50 percent faster than last year’s processor.
As far as the camera setup is concerned, the dual camera setup has been given on the back of the iPhone 13. In fact, the biggest change this year has been in the camera system.
The setup includes the optical image stabilization system of last year’s iPhone 12 Pro Max, as well as a new 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera (with sensor 47% larger than the previous one).
The second camera of the phone is also 12 megapixels.
Apple has focused more on video in recent years, and so has the iPhone 13.
For this, a new cinematic mode has been added to the camera setup.
According to the company, the focus system has also been improved, which will be able to focus automatically and it can also be changed manually.
iPhone 13 Price 2021
As far as the pricing is concerned, Apple has retained the prices of last year’s models. The price of iPhone 13 will start from ₹ 799 (over ₹ 134,000).
iPhone 13 mini
Although the iPhone 12 mini did not get much attention last year, but the company has retained this model in 2021.
The company also introduced the iPhone 13 mini this year along with the other standard model iPhone 13.
Like the iPhone 13, the Mini model also has 5G support and the A15 Bionic processor.
According to the company, the battery life has improved significantly and the iPhone 13 Mini will be able to work for one and a half hours more than last year’s model.
Battery life in last year’s Mini model disappointed consumers, so this year’s bigger battery is a big upgrade.
This time the Face ID camera (front camera) has been revamped to make the notch smaller and according to the company it is 20% smaller.
The 5.4-inch OLED display is 38% brighter than last year’s model.
The iPhone 13 Mini features Apple’s Ceramic Shield technology that protects the phone’s screen from falling down, as well as water- and dust-resistant phones.
Its camera setup is similar to that of the iPhone 13, which means it houses two 12-megapixel cameras along with a new Cinematic Mode at the back.

The phone will go up for pre-order from September 17 and in the market from September 24 starting at $ 699 (over Rs 117,000).
iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max
These are the flagship phones of this series which have a more powerful A15 Bionic processor, 3 new cameras and better display than before.
In fact, these are the first iPhones to feature a 120 Hz display with a refresh rate.
The Super Retina XDR display on both the phones supports 10 to 120Hz refresh rate while the notch volume has also been reduced.
According to the company, a brand new 3 camera setup has been given in both the phones.
The wide camera performs much better in low light due to its large sensor, while the ultra wide sensor has also been made much better with the help of wide aperture.
The telephoto cameras of both the phones offer 6x optical zoom instead of 3x in all three cameras.
All three cameras have Night Mode and a new Macro Mode has been added to it which helps in taking pictures of small objects up to 2 cm.
Sensor shift optical image stabilization feature is also part of both the models.
Apple has also added a new Photo Style feature to the devices that adds computational photography to traditional camera filters.
Cinematic Mode is also integrated into the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, and can record 4K video in ProRes at 30 frames per second.
According to Apple, ProRes support will be part of a future iOS update.
Both phones have Apple’s new A15 processor and according to the company it can improve machine learning tasks.
The battery of both the phones is also bigger than last year’s Pro model.
The battery of iPhone 13 Pro will last for one and a half hours compared to 12 Pro, while the battery of 13 Pro Max will last more than two and a half hours compared to 12 Pro Max.
Apple has provided 128GB to TB storage options in the Pro model for the first time, while 5G performance has also been upgraded with support for more bands.
iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max Price
The iPhone 13 Pro will start at Rs 9,999 (PKR over 168,000) while the iPhone 13 Pro Max will start at Rs 1,099 (PKR over 185,000).
Both the phones will be pre-ordered from September 17th and will be available to the general public from September 24th.
