Sharp is one of the first companies in the world to introduce a bezel-less smartphone.
The Sharp Aquis was introduced several years ago with a unique design that Xiaomi later used for its first MiMix smartphone.
The Japanese company often offers smartphones equipped with unique technologies and now a similar new phone has been introduced in the form of Aquis Zero 6.
It has been called the world’s lightest 5G smartphone and no compromise has been made on battery capacity.
This phone weighs 146 grams and has a 4010 mAh battery.
Despite its light weight, the phone has a 6.4-inch OLED display with 240 Hz refresh rate support, while the Corning Gorilla Glass Victor is used to protect the screen.
Inside the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
The back of the phone has a setup of 4 cameras with a 48-megapixel main camera with 8-megapixel Ultra Wide, 8-megapixel 2X telephoto and TOF cameras.
The 12.6-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls is hidden in the Drop Drop Notch.
Other notable features include 5G, dual band Wi-Fi, Blue Tooth 5.1 and dual band GNSS.
The fingerprint sensor is mounted inside the screen while water and dust resistance features are also part of this phone.
The price of the phone has not been announced by the company but it will be available in pre-order from the end of September.
