The Chinese phone maker Oppo officially launched a flagship series of three smartphones called the Oppo Reno 6. The lineup includes three smartphones, including the Oppo Reno 6, Oppo Reno 6 Pro, and Oppo Reno Pro +. The Oppo Reno 6 is an enviable model. On the other hand, Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro + are similar to each other. The main difference between the two models is their camera and chipset.
Design and display
The camera setup on all models in the Oppo Reno 6 line is similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. When we look at the design of your camera, its base is different. Pro has a round chassis in different variants.
As for the screen of the phones, the Reno 6 has a 6.4-inch flat AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro + have a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED screen with 1080p resolution. 90 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Internal and storage
Internally, the Oppo Reno 6 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 900SC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded by providing a microSD card.
Oppo Reno 6 Pro tops the list with MediaTek Dimensity 1200SC. Equipped with Oppo Reno 6 Pro + Snapdragon 870SC. Both models come with 2GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable onboard storage. On the software front, the phones have been overshadowed by Android 11 with a custom Color OR 11 skin.
The Oppo Renault 6 is equipped with a triple sensor rear camera with a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2 MP macro lens. It is equipped with a 32 MP selfie camera.
The Reno 6 Pro comes with a four sensor camera that has the same features as the Reno 6. The only difference is that there is a 2MP depth sensor included. The selfie camera is similar to that of the Renault 6.
The Pro + variant has an onboard buffer chamber. It comes with Sony’s 50MP IMX 766 quad LED sensor configuration. There is a 16 MP ultra-wide snapper with primary sensor, 13 MP phone lens with 2 MP optical zoom, and 2 MP depth sensor.
Battery and price
As for the battery compartment, the Oppo Reno 6 is equipped with a 4,300 mAh function that boasts a fast charge of up to 65 W. On the other hand, the Pro comes with a 4500 mAh battery in several variants, which supports the 65W Super VOC 2.0 load. The Oppo Reno 6 will go on sale June 6-11, while the other two phones will be available on Oppo’s website on June 5. Pricing details for the three variants in the series are given below.
