MDCAT 2022 will be based on a total of 120 multiple choice questions (MCQs). The duration of this test will be 3.5 hours. The format used in MDCAT 2022 will be computer based. At least 65% marks will be required to pass the exam. There will be no negative marking in MDCAT 2022. The test will be divided into three different levels to test the student’s different abilities.

To ensure standardized admissions testing, the PMC will conduct a single test for admissions to all students in the medical and dental fields. By conducting MDCAT, PMC tests the student’s critical thinking and problem solving skills and knowledge required to study medicine. Students who have successfully completed their Intermediate (Medical) or are awaiting their results can take MDCAT 2022. MCQs in Biology, Chemistry and Physics will have 70% recall and 30% application level.
