PU Signs An MOU With PEF To Offer Scholarships

Punjab University PU Faculty of Computing and Information Technology and Professional Education Foundation PU FCIT has entered into an agreement to provide PU FCIT PEF scholarships to deserving and talented students.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Pro Vice-Chancellor of Punjab University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar and Javed Farooqi of PEF in the presence of Dean Faculty of Computing and Information Technology Prof. Dr. Shehzad Sarwar and others.

The purpose of the agreement is to offer PEF scholarships to students from low-income backgrounds in the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology. PEF has been offering scholarships to 50 students every year since last year in terms of full tuition fee waiver, while each selected student of FCIT will get a scholarship of PKR 60,000 per annum for a period of four years.

Similarly, in a stable condition, 200 students will receive scholarships worth 12 12 million annually. This is the first time that PEF has offered scholarships to students in the field of computing in Pakistan while students of medical and engineering programs have already received financial assistance. Being provided.

So far, PEF has been the guarantor of a better future for more than 2,000 students across Pakistan. Prof. Dr. Shehzad Sarwar thanked the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar for his guidance and cooperation in making this initiative a reality.
