It has been revealed that Punjab University administration has given fake data to QS administration to improve its ranking.
According to the details, the pool of improvement in the QS ranking of Punjab University has been opened.

According to QS website, the ratio of teachers and students in Punjab University is 1.20, 1.20 ratio of teachers and students means 1340 teachers and 27 thousand students in the university.
According to the fact book of Punjab University, the number of on-campus students is 47 thousand. Quaid-e-Azam University and NIST provided data of all on-campus students.
QS was selected on the basis of the ratio of teachers and students in the Punjab University administration.

The Punjab University administration has also come up with a scam on the ranking of Petroleum Engineering. It has been revealed that Punjab University is among the top 150 institutions in the world without offering a degree in Petroleum Engineering.
Punjab University does not even offer BS and Masters degree in Petroleum Engineering from the beginning.
