Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi introduced the K50 gaming series in early 2022. Now the company has introduced Redmi K50 and K50 Pro phones.
The design of both the phones is similar and the features are quite similar, but the Pro model has a much better camera, fast charging, and processor.
The Redmi’s 50 Pro has MediaTek’s Density 9000 processor, while the phone has a 7-layer vapor chamber cooling system to protect it from overheating.
In comparison, the K50 has a Density 8100 processor.
Both phones have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD Plus resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate support.
The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victis protection, while both phones have a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The K50 Pro has a 108-megapixel main camera with OIS on the back and uses a large 1 / 1.52-inch sensor from Samsung.
It comes with 8-megapixel Ultra Wide and 2-megapixel macro cameras.
In contrast, the Redmi K50’s main camera is 48 megapixels with 8-megapixel Ultra Wide and 2-megapixel macro cameras.
The Redmi K50 Pro comes with a 5000 mAh battery with 120 watt fast charging support and according to the company, zero to 100 percent charging is done in just 19 minutes.
In contrast, the 50 will have a 5500 mAh battery with 67 watts of fast charging support.
Both phones are the first to be offered for sale in China.
The Redmi K50 Pro model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 2999 Yuan (over PKR 84,000), the version with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is 3299 Yuan (over PKR 93,000) while the 12GB. The phone with B-RAM and 512 GB storage will be sold for 3999 yuan (over 113,000 Pakistani rupees).
The Redmi 50’s phone with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will be available at 2399 Yuan (over PKR 67,000) while the version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will be available at 2799 Yuan (over PKR 79,000). ۔
