Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Details:

Performance + storage: All three models are equipped with the fastest Qualcomm chip Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, so you don’t have to worry about performance. In addition, there is at least 8 GB RAM, the main memory increases depending on the selected memory variant, as you can see from the table. The Ultra model even offers a whopping 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Every Tab S8 model offers the option of expanding the storage via a micro SD card.

Display + Design + S Pen: While the Galaxy Tab S8 only works with a TFT screen, Samsung has given the Tab S8+ and Tab S8 Ultra a colour-intensive and high-contrast Super AMOLED display, the resolution of which is also higher than that of the smallest model. Therefore, these are even more suitable if you want to watch films or play games on the tablet, for example.

All three models now have an Armor aluminum frame, which according to Samsung is not only lighter, but also significantly more resistant to bending and at the same time allows fewer scratches. Samsung ‘s proprietary S Pen is included with every Tab S8 device and tucks away on the back of the device when you’re not using it.

According to Samsung, the S Pen has such a low latency that it feels like you’re writing with a real pen on paper. We will soon clarify whether this is really true in our detailed test.

Video telephony: The Tab S8 Ultra is the only model with two 12-megapixel cameras on the front for even better video telephony, all three devices film in 4K by the way. Auto-framing technology is integrated, which always keeps you in focus during the call and at the same time zooms in and out of the image section.

Samsung also installs three microphones that use noise reduction technology to filter out background noise, for example. And for the sound, all three devices have four speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Working: It is of course very practical that you can also use the Tab S8 devices wirelessly as a second monitor if you are using a compatible Samsung laptop. And thanks to Samsung DeX, you can also easily connect the Tab S8 to an external display and work on it with an extra customized desktop interface. Of course, you can also connect a keyboard and mouse via Bluetooth.

With the Quick Share function, you can also quickly and wirelessly share files, photos and videos between your smartphone (e.g. Galaxy S22) with the Tab S8. And it is also practical that you can use an auto-switch function with the devices and the Galaxy Buds, which means that switching from smartphone to tablet and vice versa is smooth.
