The Sindh government has, however, suspended physical classes in all public and private Sindh universities in the province for the second time, in view of the growing number of Covid19 cases in the province.
A notification has also been issued by the Sindh Government’s Department of Sindh Universities and Boards. According to the notification signed by Secretary Universities and Boards Qazi Shahid Pervez on May 22, there will be no physical classes in the universities. Online classes will continue to save.
In this regard, the heads of all the concerned agencies have been asked to call the most essential staff in their respective agencies with strict covid 19 SOPs.
It may be recalled that universities in Sindh have been closed since April 26 and classes are being conducted online. Karachi University had issued a notification a few days ago in which the current semester was made completely online.
