The world’s most popular video sharing app, TikTok, has allowed its users to create videos up to 10 minutes long.
TikTok also forced the world’s two largest technology giants, YouTube and Facebook, to change their platforms with the help of short videos.

Given the popularity of TikTok around the world, Facebook has made it possible for users to upload short videos under the name of Short Rails, while YouTube has made it possible for users to upload short videos under the name of Shorts.
After the short videos, TikTok has created a competitive environment for YouTube by introducing its creators to upload long videos.
The company has been experimenting with videos of different lengths by creators for the past 18 months, limiting video duration to 5 minutes in 2019.
However, users of TikTok seem to be divided on this issue. Some think that in order to compete with YouTube and Instagram releases, Tik Tak should increase the time of its video.
While some users say that a 10 minute video will be too long. And the experiences of many web series and TV shows in the past have not been very good.
For example, the episodes of the 2003 Star Wars: The Clones Wars series lasted only 3 to 12 minutes, but continued to be popular.

Similarly, if the duration of TikTok videos is increased to ten minutes, then the real purpose of the app will be lost and the viewer will have to watch the video with full focus.
However, increasing the duration of videos for TikTok aims to create an atmosphere of competition for YouTube as well as to encourage its creators to create videos on various topics.
