German company Nitro Key has announced the introduction of the world’s safest Android smartphone,.
The Nitro Phone 1 combines security, privacy and state-of-the-art hardware.
The hardware comes from the Google Pixel 4A, while the phone has the Graphene OS operating system installed, making it the world’s most secure Android smartphone.
Graphene OS is an Android operating system designed for professionals and can be used to control the phone without Google.
Nitro Key aims to protect people’s personal data with strong encryption and a Titan M security chip that protects the device and data from hacker attacks.
The verified boot ensures that the operating system cannot be modified, with features such as an automatic total switch and pin layout scrambling.
The phone does not have Cloud or Google Pay services by default and the user will need to install the original Google Play services if needed.
Apps in the phone cannot access IMEI and serial numbers, SIM card serial numbers, subscriber IDs, while there are active cameras, microphones and bi-default indicators for location.
The phone has a 5.81-inch Full HD Plus display with a Snapdragon 730G processor.
The phone comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage while the back has a 12.2 megapixel camera.
This phone is not offered for sale in the general market but can be purchased on the company’s website.
It is expected to cost up to 630 euros.
